Home Alone Star, Macaulay Culkin Rubbishes Reports Of Drug Addiction

Former child star, Macaulay Culkin, who is still remembered for his performance in the Home Alone movie series, has laughed off the reports of his struggled life and drug addiction back in 2012.

There were speculations that, the actor had suffered a major heart-break following his split with girlfriend Mila Kunis in 2010;he then struggled with his life and drug addiction, which almost ended his career. The actor rubbishes all the claims saying it was "not necessarily" true.

"Of course, when silly stuff is going on - but no, I was not pounding six grand of heroin every month or whatever. The thing that bugged me was tabloids wrapping it all in this weird guise of concern. No, you're trying to shift papers," said Culkin.

The actor, after getting famous just at the age of four, suddenly disappeared from all the spotlight, had a difficult childhood when he was estranged by his parents and they also had blocked him from using his fortune. He married at the age of 17 only to get separated two years later.

The actor, since then has preferred to stay away from limelight and says he does not understand why people still take interest in him.

"I have no idea. I was thinking about this the other day - I'd crossed the wrong street, picked up a tail, suddenly there's a crush of 20 paparazzi. Then people with cameraphones get involved. I don't think I'm worthy of that." He concluded.
