Mariah Carey & James Packer Are Engaged After 8 Months Of Dating!

Mariah Carey and James Parker are finally engaged, according the news reports. The couple dated for less than a year before getting engaged to marriage.

Apparently, the Australian billionaire proposed to the singer at a private dinner in New York City, Yesterday, January 21, 2016. The question was popped with a 35 carats diamond ring!

A couple started dating last spring, 2015, when a mutual friend set them up. They confirmed their romance in June, through a lot of PDA. Supposedly, they even went on trips on Jame's yacht.

Just a month after going public about their relationship, Mariah Carey dedicated her song 'Hero' tp Packer during one of her Las Vegas concerts.

The couple were spotted together together at many occasions in the last 8 months. Also, James was seen getting along with Mariah's children real well.

Though Carey and Packer are engaged, she is technically still married to her ex-husband Nick Cannon, who is the father of her 4 years old twins.

Their divorce is yet to be finalized. Prior to her marriage with Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey was married to Tommy Mottola.

It is Jame's third marriage, too. He was previously married twice and has three children aged 7 and younger from his previous marriages.

Now, the marriage is to only see the 35 carats stone and know when the couple is going to tie the knot and begin a new life with one another.
