Media Tycoon Rupert Murdoch & Jerry Hall Engaged, But No Ring Found On Jerry's Finger?
The year just began and looks like the wedding bells are all set to ring,too. Today, January 12, 2015, The Times announced that Rupert Murdoch and Jerry Hall engaged over the weekend. The media tycoon and ex-model dated for about 4 months before getting engaged to marriage.
The classified ad carried on the birth, death marriages of the newspaper read, 'Mr Rupert Murdoch, father of Prudence, Elisabeth, Lachlan, James, Grace and Chloe Murdoch, and Miss Jerry Hall, mother of Elizabeth, James, Georgia and Gabriel Jagger are delighted to announce their engagement.'
The 84 years old and one of the richest men in the world Rupert Murdoch proposed to his model lady Jerry Hall 59, over the weekend. They made first appearance as engaged couple on the Golden Globes Awards ceremony, yesterday, January 11, 2015.
The couple made their relationship last October, 2015, when they appeared as a couple to the Rugby match happening in London. This is Rupert's fourth marriage and Jerry Hall's second. She was previously married to the 'Rolling Stones' frontman Mick Jagger in 1990.
Rupert was supposedly introduced to Jerry through his niece and sister, tow years after ending his marriage with his previous wife. A spokesperson from the Rupert family said, ‘They have loved these past months together, are thrilled to be getting married and excited about their future.'
