Michael Sheen Says Indian Cinema Has Influenced Him A Lot

Michael Sheen says he has been highly influenced by Indian Cinema and the works of Satyajit Ray and Mira Nair.

Celebrated Hollywood actor Michael Sheen has credited Indian Cinema in a big way and said, cinema of India has had a big influence on him. He even mentioned the names of great Indian directors like Satyajit Ray and Mira Nair and their movies left a greater impact on him.

"I would love to come and do something in India. It will be amazing. The films from India, the cinema of India has had such a big influence on me, watching Satyajit Ray, Mira Nair films. It is such an incredible country and culture and so I hope that I can come soon," Sheen stated.

Sheen features in the latest sci-fi romance film titled Passengers, which have Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt in the leads.

Michael Sheen also said that he had enjoyed working with Pratt and Lawrence and said that "it was just such a laugh working" with the actors.

"They are great people, really funny and we all got along really well which is handy because it was just the three of us everyday for a long time," Sheen added.

On talking about the movie he said "it is about connections to another human being and the ability to feel love for another human being."
