There was a time, when a handful of categorical 'A-list' actors in Hollywood could easily demand for ($20 to $30) Million straight up, to sign a movie deal. However, those days are long gone now, almost. (Almost), because Jennifer Lawrence recently got $20 Million for Passengers.

On the sunny side, Reeves will pouch a fraction of ownership stake in the movie, it is the likely route the actors are taking to find them in a better financial stature rather than just taking a percentage of the profit.
