The
upcoming
and
much
anticipated
third
installment
of
the
Wolverine
franchise,
portraying
Hugh
Jackman
in
the
lead,
has
finally
revealed
its
official
poster,
along
with
the
title.
The
official
title
has
been
christened
as
'Logan'
and
the
much-awaited
poster
for
the
film
was
revealed
by
the
actor
Jackman
himself,
on
Twitter.
Logan'
is
the
original
name
of
Jackman's
mutant
character
'Wolverine'.
The
poster
showing
a
young
hand
grasping
the
hero's
clawed
hand
rightly
signifies
that
the
honour
now
is
going
to
pass
on
to
a
young
Wolverine.
As
Hugh
Jackman
has
already
announced
his
retirement
from
playing
this
character.
Moreover,
director
James
Mangold
had
shared
a
glimpse
of
the
script
on
his
twitter
page,
providing
more
insight
into
the
fact
that
the
story
is
based
on
the
'Old
Man
Logan'.
Hugh
Jackman
said
the
other
day,
"it
will
be
very
different
in
tone,
and
hopefully
different
to
anything
we've
done
before." Now
we
know
what
he
actually
hinted
at.
Here
we
will
get
to
see
a
very
different
Wolverine
from
what
we
know
so
far.
"He's
older
now
and
it's
clear
his
abilities
aren't
what
they
once
were.
He's
fading
on
the
inside
and
his
diminished
healing
factor
keeps
in
him
in
a
constant
state
of
chronic
pain
-
hence
booze
as
a
painkiller,"
Hugh
Jackman
said.
Logan
is
scheduled
to
hit
theaters
on
March
3,
2017.
