Oprah Winfrey To Star In Big Screen Adaptation Of 1963 Fantasy Classic, A Wrinkle In Time

Oprah Winfrey is all set to join hands with Disney, in the big screen adaptation of the 1963 fantasy classic novel A Wrinkle In Time, written by Madeleine L'Engle, which won the prestigious Newbery Medal.

A Wrinkle In Time, narrates the story of a young girl who ventures out, and the adventures she makes in search of her lost father, who mysteriously disappeared while working on a secret science project and eventually got transported to the fifth dimension.

The script of the movie will be managed by the Oscar-winning writer and co-director Jennifer Lee, who is renowned for the movie Frozen. He is expected to come up again with another masterpiece this time for the Disney movie.

Oprah Winfrey, is likely to play the character of Mrs Which, in the upcoming movie, and she will be joined by stars like Amy Adams, Kevin Hart, and others. Disney looks to be in a hurry to finalize the cast and move on the production line to complete the movie as early as possible.

After The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks with HBO earlier this year, this upcoming movie will be regarded as the 64-year-old Oprah Winfrey's continuation in the acting career after a deliberate pause.
