Patriots Day Is A Very Important Movie Feels Mark Wahlberg

Mark Wahlberg says his upcoming movie Patriots Day will be very special for him and a more important movie that he has done so far.

Celebrated Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg and the famed director Peter Berg may have associated with each other on previous occasions for real-life dramas, Deepwater Horizon and Lone Survivor.

But Mark Wahlberg feels that his upcoming film under the direction of Peter Berg titled Patriots Day will be the most important film that the actor has ever acted in. The actor added that he always wants his films to perform well at the box office but Patriots Day has been very special for him.

"When you're making a movie about something like this, it really becomes about the story, the people, and not your own individual experience. These are the ones that really matter," said Mark Wahlberg in a statement.

"Obviously, I'm very serious about all the movies that I make and I want them all to be successful, and I want them all to work and serve their purpose, but this is so much more important than anything I've ever been a part of," the actor added further.

The movie revolves around an event relating to Boston Marathon bombing in 2013. Mark Wahlberg plays the role of a Police Sergeant named as Tommy Saunders.

The movie also features J. K. Simmons, John Goodman, Michelle Monaghan and Kevin Bacon in much important roles.
