Thomas Haden Church Had No Formal Training In Acting

Renowned Hollywood writer, director and actor Thomas Haden Church reveals that he had never taken any formal training on acting and for him "acting was all by osmosis".

Haden Church popularly known for his part in movies like Spider-Man 3 where he played the infamous villain 'Sandman'.

He had also featured in movies like George of the Jungle, We Bought A Zoo, Sideways, All About Steve and others.

"I actually never had any training; I did a little bit of acting in high school and college, then I worked in advertising, which led to a voiceover career. That is why I moved to LA, to get a bigger stage in terms of voiceovers. Acting was all by osmosis," said Haden Church

He also added: "I got an audition. I got a movie, and worked on a movie set for three weeks and I played a character. Then I was like, wow. I'm moving to LA. Now, I just do it with my own facility of creating characters, and hopefully they're believable and not stupid."

At the moment, the actor is all set to be seen in TV series titled Divorce. Here he will be featured as the lead protagonist in the story.
