Tom
Cruise's
alter
ego
Ethan
Hunt,
may
be
the
protagonist
of
the
whole
Mission:
Impossible
series,
but
he
had
always
required
the
constant
help
and
support
of
his
team.
New
addition
to
that
was
Jeremy
Renner,
since
2011's
Ghost
Protocol.
Renner
had
also
appeared
in
the
2015's
Rogue
Nation.
But
now
with
Mission:
Impossible
6
all
set
to
hit
production
soon,
no
official
confirmation
on
Renner
part
has
been
known
yet.
"MI6,
I'm
not
sure
what's
happening.
I
think
it's
going
to
be
coming
down
to...I
know
that
they're
really
wanting
to
get
it
going,
and
I
haven't
spoken
to
Tom
yet
about
where
it's
at.
I
know
there
might
be
some
conflict
with
schedules,
so
I'm
not
sure
what's
going
to
happen." Renner
said
.
He
also
added
that
"Avengers
is
gonna
eat
up
a
lot
of
next
year.
Gladly,
but
I
certainly
hope
it
doesn't
ultimately
get
in
the
way
of
Tom
and
I
and
the
gang
getting
back
together
for
that
because
I'd
love
to."
By
now,
only
two
names
have
been
confirmed
by
the
MI
Franchise
for
Mission:
Impossible
6,
one
of
them
is
obviously
Tom
Cruise
to
reprise
his
role
as
Ethan
Hunt,
and
the
another
one
is
Rebecca
Ferguson,
who
debuted
in
the
last
installment
of
the
movie
as
Ilsa
Faust.
