Zayn Malik Reveals The Reason For Leaving One Direction

Celebrated singer Zayn Malik reveals the reason behind his sudden exclusion from the famous band One Direction. The singer says that he left the band because he wanted to achieve something more out of the comfort zone, all by himself.

Zayn Malik says, being in a band always made him feel secure. However, he also mentions that he was getting bored being in the comfort zone and so he wanted to venture out and experience more, all by himself.

The Pillow Talk hitmaker left the band One Direction in March, last year.

"I just knew it was my time. I knew I wanted to do something different and start expressing the way I felt about certain things,"said Zayn.

"I know that musicians are seen as one-sided people a lot of the time. But we do have other elements to us as well. I didn't feel good. Do you know what I mean? And if you don't feel good... You need to be able to express what it is that you are. I'm free at last," Zayn added.

Zayn Malik, however, is faring quite well in his solo music career after quitting the band. He is also in a happy space in his personal life with constant support from his girlfriend Gigi Hadid by his side.
