Celebrated
Hollywood
actress
Anne
Hathaway
took
out
Hollywood's
double
standard
and
calls
it
a
place
of
inequality.
However,
the
actress
feels
that
it
is
a
fact
and
all
should
try
to
live
with
it.
"Hollywood
is
not
a
place
of
equality.
I
don't
say
that
with
anger
or
judgment;
it's
a
statistical
fact," said
Anne
Hathaway
in
a
statement.
"It
just
kind
of
makes
you
aware
of
the
ways
you
sort
of
unconsciously
change
yourself
to
fit
certain
scenarios.
It's
not
better
or
worse
or
right
or
wrong,
but
there
are
certain
things
you
understand
about
one
another
because
of
experiences
you
have
in
common."
Said
Hathaway
"it's
probably
easy
for
men
to
take
that
for
granted,"
the
actress
added
further.
Talking
about
her
latest
project,
the
actress
said
that
she
is
very
excited
to
be
the
part
of
Ocean's
Eight,
the
all-female
spinoff
of
the
2001
classic.
Anne
Hathaway
said
this
has
been
an
unique
experience
for
her,
though
she
had
been
in
some
female
centric
films
earlier,
this
is
much
unlike
others.
"And
even
though
I've
been
in
some
female-centric
films,
I've
never
been
in
a
film
like
this.
Just
being
on
a
set
where
I'm
the
one
who
possesses
that
ease
is
really
something,
it's
a
nice
alternative
narrative."
Said
Hathaway.
