Armie Hammer Not Sure About Featuring In Green Lantern Corps

Earlier, it was known that Armie Hammer, the Lone Ranger actor, was among one of the favourites to portray the character of Hal Jordan in the forthcoming Green Lantern Corps.

According to some of the popular movie websites, it was reported that Hollywood stars like Tom Cruise, Bradley Cooper, Joel McHale, Jake Gyllenhaal and also Ryan Reynolds himself who played the character in the first Green Lantern movie are among the ones in consideration for the role.

However, Armie Hammer says he has no idea about such a development and the reports seem new to him.

"I saw the reporting too. That's the first I've heard of it." Said Armie Hammer in a statement.

The Studio officials are also yet to comment on the characterization for the movie Green Lantern Corps as the casting process is still on.

As per the reports, the President of DC Entertainment Geoff Johns has also confirmed the involvement of Green Lantern in the upcoming Justice League movie alongside Ben Affleck's Batman, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman and Henry Cavill's Superman.

"We've been to the bottom of the oceans, we've been to ancient Greece mythology, we've been to the past and future Flash, into the digital world with Cyborg, we still got to go to space," Geoff Johns said earlier.

"So the Green Lanterns and the Green Lantern Corps will be coming to join the Justice League universe." He added.
