BAFTA 2017: Celebrities Heading To London For The Grand Award Night

BAFTA Awards 2017 in full swing with big celebrities appearing for the award night.

Biggest Hollywood celebrities are flying off to London to appear for the grand BAFTA Awards 2017 to be held Royal Albert Hall and it will be hosted by Stephen Fry.

BBC will telecast it live at 21:00 GMT or 2.30 am IST. Live streaming option is also available at BBC iPlayer and BAFTA's official Facebook page for the viewers who would like to watch it online.

Ryan Gosling

The musical hit Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling starrer La La Land is heading for another major award win of the season with 11 nominations while Nocturnal Animals along with Arrival is fighting for the second position with nine nominations each.

Looking at the winning streak of the Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling starrer musical hit La La Land it is obvious that both the stars Gosling and Stone are up for some more trophies in the acting category.

In a matter of fact, it could also create record at the BAFTA to secure most number of awards by a single film.

Apart from that, there are other big names who are looking to grab the prestigious award this season. Dev Patel, Andrew Garfield, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emily Blunt are among others in the award hunt.

In the category of best British Film, I, Daniel Blake secured a nomination and its star Hayley Squires is staring at the laurel for best actress in supporting role.

"As if @BAFTA think it's a good idea to put me in the same room as Ryan Gosling, very grateful for the recognition". Said the actress.

"The range of films is quite extraordinary," said Amanda Berry, the BAFTA chief executive.

"That's what makes this year's nominations so intriguing and interesting," she added further.
