Deepika Padukone Reveals How She Made Her Hollywood Debut

Celebrated Indian actress Deepika Padukone, who aims to make big in Hollywood with her debut movie xXx: Return of Xander Cage opposite Vin Diesel reveals the secret as to how she got this opportunity to break into Hollywood and that too, in such a big franchise.

Deepika said she had actually auditioned for a role in the movie Fast and Furious 7 earlier, but unfortunately that didn't work out for Deepika. But she said people remembered her audition and she got a call back form xXx director DJ Caruso.

"I actually auditioned for 'Fast and Furious 7' about two-three years ago but for whatever reason that didn't work out. And I think people remember me from that audition." Said Deepika.

"And then, about a year ago, I get a call from Paramount Pictures saying they are casting for this film and so I flew down and met the director DJ Caruso." The actress added.

Deepika also narrated her meeting with Vin Diesel and how they started doing the photoshoot together for the film at the middle of the night.

"Vin Diesel found out in Los Angeles that I was in Toronto and said he wanted me to come and see him. So, overnight I flew down to LA to see Vin. Suddenly, in the middle of the night, we are doing this 45-minute professional photo shoot and I was like, what is going on!" Stated Deepika.
