Tom
Cruise's
love
for
death-defying
stunts
is
known
to
everyone,
thanks
to
his
Mission
Impossible
films.
This
not
only
pulls
the
crowd
to
each
and
every
movie
of
Tom
Cruise,
it
also
sets
this
actor
apart
from
the
rest.
When
most
of
the
action
stars
prefer
to
go
with
a
body
double
or
rich
computer
graphics
to
make
a
practically
challenging
shot
look
real,
Tom
likes
to
do
it
all
by
his
own.
Similar
to
what
he
did
for
one
of
his
upcoming
films,
The
Mummy.
According
to
the
director
Alex
Kurtzman,
"there
was
a
lot
of
barfing" in
that
shot
where
Tom
along
with
the
actress
Anabelle
Wallis
needed
to
film
a
shot
going
weightless
in
the
mid-air
inside
a
plane.
This
shot
required
a
plane
to
fly
very
high
into
the
clouds
and
then
suddenly
drop
at
a
high
speed
maintaining
a
steep
angle
in
order
to
simulate
zero
gravity
throwing
everything
inside
a
plane.
However,
Tom
had
the
option
to
film
that
shot
with
the
help
of
CGI,
but
he
wanted
it
for
real.
"Tom
is
renowned
for
making
sure
that
the
audience
gets
the
most
out
of
their
cinematic
experience.
So
when
it
came
to
doing
this
sequence
we
had
options
to
do
it
on
a
stage." Said
Anabelle
Wallis.
"Tom,
in
his
glory
and
slight
madness,
was
adamant
that
he
wanted
it
to
be
done
on
a
plane
in
zero
gravity." The
actress
added
further.
