Renowned American author and screenwriter Jon Sapihts, who is the creator of the popular movie Doctor Strange, is reportedly willing to continue the story and pen down a sequel for the movie that released in 2016.

The 66-year-old author and screenwriter thinks ending the story of Doctor Strange with only one film would not justify the potential this character possesses.

"I think Marvel would certainly be very receptive. Everything in Hollywood is a function of schedules so it would be a matter of that thing coming around at a time when I can make some availability and everybody else's timetables work out." Said Jon Sapihts in a statement.

"I imagine they would be receptive to collaborating again, and I would certainly be delighted to get back to the workshop," Spaihts added further.

Benedict Cumberbatch, on the other hand had beefed up and gained weight for his role in the movie Doctor Strange. But the actor states that, he had to work very hard to shed those extra kilos for featuring in the TV series as Sherlock Holmes.

"I finished on Doctor Strange and, that night, I got on a plane. The next morning, I woke up and was driven to Cardiff. I was not in Sherlock' shape." Said the actor.

"I was in Doctor Strange shape so I was quite big! I was chunky - in a healthy way, an athletic way - and he's not necessarily Sherlock," Cumberbatch added.
