states
that
he
feels
proud
to
have
got
this
opportunity
to
represent
India
in
Hollywood.
On
the
occasion
of
the
74th
Golden
Globe
Awards,
talking
about
his
experience
while
shooting
for
Lion
in
his
native
land,
Dev
stated
that
it
was
very
nourishing
experience
working
with
the
crew
in
India.
"It
is
blasting
with
humanity
really,
there
is
a
sense
of
real
pride
that
I
go
and
represent
the
country
on
an
international
scale.
The
crew
(in
India)
is
just
so
excited
and
it
had
been
a
very
nourishing
experience."
Lion
also
features
major
actors
like
Nicole
Kidman,
Priyanka
Bose,
Nawazuddin
Siddiqui,
Deepti
Naval,
Tannishtha
Chatterjee
along
with
Dev
Patel
in
the
movie.
Dev
heaped
high
praises
on
the
actress
and
co-star
Nicole
Kidman
and
says
she
is
a
very
friendly
person.
"She
is
very
friendly.
It
was
just
eight
months
of
preparations.
We
were
working
relentlessly," the
actor
stated.
After
completing
all
his
work,
Dev
said
he
will
be
heading
to
Tokyo.
"In
2017,
I
will
be
back
in
Mumbai
and
will
be
finishing
a
movie.
That's
the
most
recent
destination.
But
hopefully
I
think
Tokyo.
It's
fantastic.
I
have
been
there
before
for
two
days.
So
now
I
am
going
to
enjoy
more,"
added
Dev.
