Hugh Jackman Wants Shahrukh Khan To Replace Him As Wolverine

After a span of seventeen years and as many as nine films, Hugh Jackman is finally bidding adieu to his celebrated iconic movie character - 'Wolverine'. However, the Hollywood star thinks it is time for other actors to step in for the role and take this superhero character forward.

In a recent interview, when asked, who would Hugh Jackman like to see taking his baton forward, the Hollywood star named another iconic actor from the Indian film industry and he is none other than Shahrukh Khan. Jackman feels Shahrukh Khan would be a great fit for the role.

"I hope other people play him. Maybe Shahrukh Khan can play him. Who knows, y'know? The comic book series is so good because you've had so many people interpreting this role. I think there's like six origin stories. Everyone puts their own stamp on it." Said Jackman.

"This is a great character. I'll be really interested to see how I'll feel about it, I want it to be really great... but, I don't want it to be that much better than me. A little bit better is fine, but if everyone were like 'Oh thank God, now... I might find that a little difficult." Hugh Jackman added further.
