Justin Bieber Under Fire For Abandoning His Ailing Puppy Tod

Singer Justin Bieber has come under criticism after he reportedly ditched his ailing puppy Tod. Tod is a seven months old Chow Chow breed dog who is suffering from a birth defect.

Bieber has left his dog with C.J. Salvador who is his back dancer and now Salvador is trying desperately to accumulate some funds so that this little canine can undergo surgery, to get back its normal life.

Salvador has also set up an online page titled 'GoFundMe' and a website to raise the amount needed for its treatment through crowd funding.

"Tod is a 7-month-old chow chow born with a birth defect called sever hip dysplacia" Said Salvador.

He continued, "Long story short, by the time he turns 1, he wont be able to walk, run, let alone play. This condition presents us with two options: 1: is to put him down (which I refuse to do) 2: let him go through a very specialized surgery."

"The surgery however, will cost around $8000. So I am humbly asking you to donate anything. Anything would be greatly appreciated," he added.

However, Salvador is happy to get the necessary amount within a few hours of taking his fund-raising Facebook page and website online.

"Words can't describe how amazing it is to wake up and see that we've reached the goal and then some. The extra money is actually going to go to his rehabilitation and his physical therapy, which he's going to need a lot." Said Salvador

"Thank you guys so so much for making my birthday wishes come true," He stated further.
