Lion Actor Sunny Pawar Says He Enjoyed Shooting In Australia
Sunny Pawar says he loved acting for the role in Lion and has developed a great bond with co-actor Dev Patel.

said
that
he
enjoyed
working
with
big
stars
and
traveling
to
Australia
for
the
shooting.
The
child
actor
also
said
that
he
has
developed
a
great
bond
with
Lion
co-star
Dev
Patel.
"Although
we
shot
in
Bhopal,
Kolkata
I
loved
shooting
in
Australia.
The
place
was
so
beautiful.
There
were
so
many
places
to
roam
and
play
around,
we
went
there
after
shooting
and
I
loved
the
place," the
young
Indian
actor
stated.
The
movie
Lion,
directed
by
Garth
Davis
has
been
an
on-screen
adaptation
of
the
popular
novel
A
Long
Way
Home,
which
narrates
a
story
of
a
lost
Indian
boy
who
sets
in
the
quest
to
find
his
lost
family.
"I
went
to
the
audition
where
they
gave
me
some
lines
and
asked
me
to
tell
them
looking
into
the
camera.
I
did
that,
and
then
I
got
to
know
that
I
am
selected
for
the
role," said
Sunny.
Remembering
his
first
day
at
the
office,
the
child
actor
said,
"Director
sir
just
asked
me
to
run
and
I
ran!
I
did
not
feel
any
pressure
of
facing
camera
or
shooting
first
time."
While
talking
about
his
balancing
act
between
studies
and
work,
Sunny
Pawar
said
that
his
teachers
encouraged
him
to
pursue
his
dreams
along
with
laying
equal
importance
to
studies.
"My
teachers
congratulate
me
and
they
encourage
me
to
study.
Though
I
want
to
act,
I
enjoy
my
studies
too,
especially
mathematics
as
that
is
my
favourite
subject," said
Pawar.
