With BLACKPINK star Lisa's turning down such a massive offer, the future of the singer with the iconic K-pop superstar group has been surrounded by speculations over its stability.

Meanwhile, South Korean media outlets are abuzz with Lisa denying a whopping $40 million that would convert to a mammoth amount of 50 billion KRW from her contract renewal offer from the record label YG Entertainment.

Many sources have claimed that the singer has received several contract proposals from other global labels, including some from her home country, Thailand. The total of these negotiations is $100 million.

As per reports, Lisa has declined two offers from YG Entertainment, with the most recent one valued at $37.7 million. BLACKPINK was formed in 2016 and has delivered hit songs like "Whistle," "Boombayah," "Playing with Fire," and "Stay".

BLACKPINK agency YG Entertainment has broken its silence on Lisa's contract status. In a statement, they addressed the rumours and said that their discussions regarding Lisa's contract renewal are still underway and that no official confirmation has been made regarding the reports.

Back in July, it was reported that negotiations between Lisa and YG Entertainment were going through some significant challenges.

Let us tell you that Lisa's solo single titled Money, which was released in 2021, has achieved remarkable chart success in addition to her live performances and group albums. The song now holds the record for the longest-charting song by a female K-pop artist on the Global Spotify chart.

It enjoyed a great 258 days on the charts, beating the record that was previously held by BLACKPINK's How You Like That.
