Brad Pitt Son Pax Jolie-Pitt: In a shocking turn of events, days after Hollywood star Brad Pitt made his love affair public, his adopted son Pax Jolie-Pitt's scathing old views against his father went viral on social media, where he branded the actor as a "world-class a**hole".
The 19-year-old youngster in 2020 on Father's Day ranted on Instagram Stories, claiming his father, Brad, made his kids "tremble in fear" and also called him a 'despicable' person. Pax was 16 at the time.
However, the 59-year-old Hollywood icon has now hit back at his adopted son and responded to his allegations as a "depressing" smear.
Brad Pitt reacts to son Pax's allegations
As per an international media outlet, The Sun, an insider close to the Bullet Train actor said, "Brad has great respect for all of his children, and it's depressing to see this dragged up. It's frustrating to see Brad being painted as some kind of 'bad person' when it's far from the truth."
On the other hand, Page Six quoted another close source of Pitt saying it's unfortunate that his people try to bring his kids into things.
"It's been a long seven years and it's unfortunate when people unnecessarily raise issues from so far in the past ... and don't take into consideration the impact it has on the whole family," it reported.
The source also mentions that Brad Pitt has not publicly discussed his children in the media regarding his 2016 divorce from Angelina Jolie or their ongoing custody dispute, and he intends to maintain his silence on the matter. "He chooses to keep a dignified silence and that speaks volumes."
However, sources reveal that half of his children have not kept any contact with him. Brad and his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, 48, have six kids together. They adopted Pax, plus Maddox, now 22, and Zahara, 18, and also have three biological children: Shiloh, 17, and 15-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
What did Pax say in his Father's Day post?
The source's comments came after screenshots of Pax's old Father's Day post surfaced online. His Instagram account is allegedly private. He reportedly hit out at Brad, shared his photo accepting his Oscar, and wrote, "Happy Father's Day to this world class a-hole!! You time and time again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person."
"You have no consideration or empathy toward your four youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence. You will never understand the damage you have done to my family because you're incapable of doing so," he added.
"You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want, but the truth will come to light someday. So, Happy Father's Day, you f-king awful human being!!!" he concluded the post.
Even Angelina Jolie had earlier accused Brad of physically and verbally abusing them in 2016. However, Pitt has maintained his innocence.
Recently, Jolie and Pitt's daughter, Zahara, dropped the surname Pitt during her Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority induction at Spelman College and introduced herself as "Zahara Marley Jolie."
