released
a
statement
that
read,
"She
passed
away
peacefully,
surrounded
by
her
beloved
family
and
friends.
For
years,
Josephine
managed
the
Chaplin
Office
in
Paris
on
behalf
of
her
siblings
until
she
took
leave
to
care
for
her
husband
Jean-Claude
Gardin," as
quoted
by
Foxnews.
The
family
members
and
the
Chaplin
Estate
didn't
disclose
the
reason
for
death.
The
funeral
service
was
held
for
Josephine
at
Pere
Lachaise
on
July
21,
2023.
Josephine
is
the
daughter
of
Chaplin
from
his
fourth
wife
Oona
O'Neill.
She
is
the
eighth
one
among
11
children
he
gave
birth
to
from
three
out
of
his
four
wives.

Lita
Grey,

Goodard,
and
Mildred
Harris
before
Oona.
Josephine
Chaplin
