Soon after Spears' revelation fetched traction online, the internet banded together to slam the Friends With Benefits actor for slut-shaming ex-girlfriend Britney Spears for decades. Labelling him "disgusting", social media users accused Timberlake of exploiting Spears and inflicting her with pain.
These strong reactions were a result of an excerpt from her memoir where the Criminal crooner revealed that she had to abort her child, which she described as "one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life." "He said we weren't ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young," she writes.
Following the shocking revelation, users took to their X account and called out Justin's behaviour after breaking up with the singer. In one of his appearances on SNL, he did a skit and took a dig at Britney, saying, "I like to think that at first there is a popular female singer, who publically claimed to be virgins, but privately, he hit it."
