hospital

succumbed

pneumonia.
As
per
AP,
the
news
of
his
death
was
confirmed
by
his
family
through
a
statement
released
by
his
publicist.
The
heartfelt
statement
read,
"We
are
devastated
to
announce
the
loss
of
Sir
Michael
Gambon.
Beloved
husband
and
father,
Michael
died
peacefully
in
hospital
with
his
wife
Anne
and
son
Fergus
at
his
bedside."

Michael
Gambon
was
born
on
October
19,
1940,
in
Dublin,
Ireland,
and
his
illustrious
career
spanned
over
five
decades
and
he
left
an

he

an
engineer,
he
found
his
interest
in
acting
and
went
on
to
become
an
