While his fans mourn the death of the actor, chilling details have emerged about the 911 call made from the actor's residence on that fateful night.

The dispatch audio, obtained by TMZ, shares a harrowing glimpse into the moments leading up to Perry's death. In the 15-second clip with some words beeped out, a male voice can be heard saying, "Agent 23. Rescue 23. EMS 9 on the radio. In response to the drowning."

How Did Matthey Perry Die?

As per reports, Matthew Perry had returned home following a two-hour pickleball game when the incident occurred. According to TMZ, he had sent his assistant on an errand, and upon their return approximately two hours later, they discovered Perry unresponsive in the jacuzzi.

The assistant immediately called the police for emergency assistance, but it was already too late. No drugs were found at the scene, and authorities do not suspect foul play.

The Los Angeles Police Department stated that officers went to Perry's residence in response to a call concerning the death of a male in his 50s. At the time of the statement, the identity of the deceased had not been officially disclosed.

Perry's family issued a heartfelt statement to PEOPLE, expressing their grief: "We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother.
