Robert De Niro Welcomes Child At 79: The Hollywood legend, Robert De Niro, who boasts of a prolific career spanning over five decades has welcomed the newest member to his family. The Oscar-winning actor has become a father for the seventh time.

Robert De Niro, during an interview for his upcoming film, 'About My Father' revealed the news of welcoming a baby at 79. During a sitdown with ET Canada, the legendary actor spoke about parenthood.

Robert De Niro took everyone by surprise after he revealed about the newest addition to his family. The actor while promoting the film talked about fatherhood and said, "There's no way around it with kids. You always want to do the right thing by the children and give them the benefit of the doubt but sometimes you can't." When the host asked him about his six children, Robert De Niro corrected him and revealed that he actually has seven children.

"I just had a baby," the actor added. However, neither did the actor provide any further details about the newest addition to his family nor revealed the identity of the mother. Recently, his current girlfriend, Tiffany Chen was spotted flaunting her baby bump during their dinner outing.

During the interview, went on to reveal that he doesn't consider himself a cool dad. "I'm okay," he said. "You know, my kids disagree with me at times, and they're respectful. My daughter, she's 11, she gives me grief sometimes and I argue with her. I adore her, but, you know. And my youngest now, that'll be more to come. But, that's what it is."

Meanwhile, Robert De Niro has starred in numerous critically acclaimed films, including "The Godfather Part II," "Taxi Driver," "Raging Bull," "Goodfellas," and "The Irishman," among others.
