Sophie
Turner
Sues
Joe
Jonas:
Pop
singer
Joe
Jonas
and
his

Sophie
Turner's
divorce
is
getting
ugly
day

In
a

low,
reports
have
it
that
Sophie
has
sued
her
husband
over
refusing
to
allow
her
two
daughters
to
return
to
her
native
country,
England.
The
lawsuit
filed
in
a
Manhattan
court
on
Thursday,
obtained
by
international
media
outlet
PEOPLE,
mentions
that
the
British
actor
has
requested
that
her
two
kids,
Willa,
3,
and
a
daughter,
identified
in
previous
court
documents
as
D.,
14
months,
be
sent
back
to
the
UK.

The

in
her
suit
alleges
that
Joe

daughters
once
the

Manhattan
personally
to
receive
them
after
completing
the
shoot
of
her

Joan
in
the
UK.
It
also
stated:
"The
Father
has
prevented
the
children's
return
to
England,
which
is
a
breach
of
the
Mother's
rights
of
custody
under
English
law,
England
being
the
children's

As

of

passports.
He
refuses
to
return
the
passports
to
the
Mother
and
refuses
to
send
the
children
home
to
England
with
the
Mother,"
stated
the
documents.
The
issue
of
kids
custody
emerged
when
the
duo
met
to
discuss
the
next
step
following
their
separation.
It
was
when
Turner
talked
about
moving
to
England.
On
the
other
hand,
Jonas' attorney
had
confirmed
to
Turner's
legal
team
that
he
would
not
return
the
girls
passports
and
also
not
give
his
consent
for
them
to
shift.
Sophie
Turner
&
Joe
Jonas
divorce
saga
Jonas,
34,
and
Turner,
27,
filed
for
divorce
on
September
5
after
four
years
of
being
married.
They
tied
the
knot
in
2019
after
a
courtship
of
three
years.
While
initially
they
kept
quiet
on
the
rumours,
there
were
several
theories
that
were
going
viral
online.
One
stated
that
Joe
didn't
support
Sophie
after
her
second
pregnancy,
and
he
also
insisted
that
she
accompany
him
to
social
events
while
she
wanted
to
stay
at
home
with
her
kids.
After
a
period
of
wait,
both
issued
a
joint
statement
regarding
the
end
of
their
nuptial,
which
read:
"Statement
from
the
two
of
us:
'After
four
wonderful
years
of
marriage,
we
have
mutually
decided
to
amicably
end
our
marriage,'
" they
both
shared
on
Instagram.
"There
are
many
speculative
narratives
as
to
why,
but
truly
this
is
a
united
decision
and
we
sincerely
hope
that
everyone
can
respect
our
wishes
for
privacy
for
us
and
our
children,"
the
statement
concluded.
