The Games of Thrones alum in her suit alleges that Joe agreed to hand over their daughters once the actress visits Manhattan personally to receive them after completing the shoot of her show Joan in the UK.

It also stated: "The Father has prevented the children's return to England, which is a breach of the Mother's rights of custody under English law, England being the children's habitual residence."

As per the report, the complaint calls Joe Jonas for "the immediate return of children wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained," with Turner's legal team asserting the "wrongful retention" dated September 20.

However, it is claimed in the legal suit that Joe refused to let the kids go when Sophie arrived in the city on September 17 to pick them up. He's also holding the kids' passports with him.

"The Father has possession of the children's passports. He refuses to return the passports to the Mother and refuses to send the children home to England with the Mother," stated the documents.

The issue of kids custody emerged when the duo met to discuss the next step following their separation. It was when Turner talked about moving to England. On the other hand, Jonas' attorney had confirmed to Turner's legal team that he would not return the girls passports and also not give his consent for them to shift.
