Mission
Impossible
7:
Hollywood
superstar
Tom
Cruise's
popular
franchise
Mission
Impossible
has
been
one
of
the
most
celebrated
movies
of
all
time.
Over
the
years,
Cruise
and
the
film
makers
have
treated
fans
to
several
astonishing
action
sequences,
making
us
want
for
more.
As
the
entire
world
eagerly
awaits
to
watch
some
more
daredevil
stunts
from
Cruise,
the
next
installment
of
Mission:
Impossible
7
is
reported
to
release
next
month.
After
multiple
delays,
fans
will
again
see
Tom
Cruise
as
Ethan
Hunt,
agent
of
the
Impossible
Missions
Force,
in
Mission:
Impossible
-
Dead
Reckoning
Part
1.
But
this
time,
the
makers
have
set
the
bar
a
lot
higher
by
using
AI
(Artificial
Intelligence)
as
the
main
villain
in
the
newest
installment.
Along
with
some
really
crazy
and
best
action
scenes,
the
film's
team
has
turned
to
new
age
technology
that
would
be
the
first
ever
to
be
seen
in
a
movie.
Mission
Impossible
7
to
feature
AI
as
a
villain
MI
7
will
feature
an
AI
as
a
villain,
something
ahead
of
its
time.
The
report
has
already
got
everyone
excited,
but
what
was
the
vision
behind
the
idea?
This
is
explained
by
the
film's
director,
Christopher
McQuarrie.
Recently
speaking
to
an
English
media
outlet,
Collider,
McQuarrie
said
the
previous
franchises
have
seen
all
sorts
of
threats,
including
chemical
threats,
biological
threats,
Rabbit's
foot,
and
others.
Trying
to
bring
something
fresh
to
the
screen,
the
filmmaker
said
that
for
MI
7,
they
have
used
one
of
the
latest
threats
to
mankind,
information
technology,
and
AI
in
the
movie
as
the
villain,
which
Tom
Cruise
and
his
team
will
face.
He
added
that
AI
is
now
increasingly
present
in
people's
lives,
which
fits
best
within
the
Mission:
Impossible
franchise
now.
Further,
while
the
AI
revolution
is
underway,
everyone
is
becoming
aware
of
the
fears
it
could
bring
to
people's
lives.
McQuarrie
expanded
on
his
decision
to
take
AI
as
the
bad
guy
in
Dead
Reckoning
Part
One.
Comparing
it
to
the
Cold
War,
he
stated,
"When
I
was
growing
up,
the
Cold
War
was
very
real,
it
was
a
very
present
thing.
We
were
under
the
threat,
we
believed,
of
nuclear
annihilation;
at
any
point,
there
could
be
a
war
between
two
or
three
nuclear
superpowers."
He
then
added,
"So
when
you
went
to
see
a
Cold
War
movie,
you
didn't
need
somebody
to
set
up
the
threat
of
the
Cold
War,
you
just
felt
it.
It
was
something
you
brought
to
the
movie."
In
MI
7,
Tom
Cruise's
character
Ethan
Hunt
will
be
seen
fighting
the
new
AI
weapon
that
threatens
humanity
as
a
whole.
While
details
about
the
film's
plot
have
been
kept
under
wraps,
the
film's
trailer
already
showed
us
that
something
huge
is
coming.
