Trevor Noah's Bengaluru Show Canceled: Renowned US comedian Trevor Noah is currently on an India tour. Amid the excitement to witness the stand-up comedian stars' arrival in the country, his Bengaluru show getting cancelled midway has caused a stir online.

Fans of the international comedian were left disheartened when his show in Bengaluru was abruptly cancelled at the last minute due to "technical issues."

Why did Trevor Noah's Bengaluru show get canceled?

Trevor Noah's show, originally scheduled to start at 7.30 pm on September 27, began nearly 30 minutes late and ended abruptly due to "bad acoustics" that made it difficult for many audience members to hear anything.

This announcement left the audience disappointed, which had gathered to enjoy the event. Trevor Noah expressed his apologies and also assured them that their ticket money would be refunded.

Noah tweeted, "Dear Bengaluru India, I was so looking forward to performing in your amazing city but due to technical issues we've been forced to cancel both shows.We tried everything but because the audience can't hear the comedians on stage there's literally no way to do a show."

BookMyShow's apology

BookMyShow also offered an apology after the Emmy Award-winning US comedian cancelled two shows in Bengaluru. Noah arrived late due to massive traffic jams, but the event was supposed to start at 7.30 p.m.

He showed up at the Manpho Conventional Centre in Manyata Tech Park for his scheduled comic performance but ended it in between after he realised that the crowd could not hear his words.

The cancellation happened due to management issues, leading to a huge letdown for all fans who endured hours of traffic to watch the comedian's performance. Many individuals voiced their criticism of BookMyShow, the event's organisers, on social media for not conducting a basic sound check before the show.

People took to social media and blamed organisers for poor management, such as parking space issues, poor air conditioning, crowded venues, and narrow roads. Taking to X, one user wrote, ''Trevor has been Bangalored, not in a nice way though! The joke is on Silicon City.''

Another joked, ''Bengaluru wanted to experience Trevor Noah, but Trevor Noah ended up experiencing Bengaluru.''

As per a report by Moneycontrol, people stated that the venue choice was not right, looking at the price charged for the tickets. Many complained of filthy restrooms and no mobile internet coverage, including many other areas that BookMyShow failed to at.

Bengaluru, which is infamous for its bad traffic, suffered a heavy one this week.
