The official trailer for the much-awaited animated series, Batman: Caped Crusader, has been unveiled by Warner Bros. Animation, Bad Robot Productions, and 6th & Idaho. The show will be exclusively streamed on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories starting August 1. The series boasts a stellar cast, including Hamish Linklater as Batman, Christina Ricci as Catwoman, Jamie Chung as Harley Quinn, and Diedrich Bader as Two-Face.
Set in Gotham City where crime runs rampant and criminals roam free, Batman: Caped Crusader follows Bruce Wayne's transformation into Batman after a tragic event. As he combats crime, he gains unexpected allies within the GCPD and City Hall. However, his heroic actions lead to unforeseen consequences.
Reimagining Batman Mythology
The series is a fresh take on the Batman mythology, executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Matt Reeves, and Bruce Timm. It features DC characters and is produced by Warner Bros.
