The movie earned massive positive reviews upon its release and became one of the most successful films of 2024, the tenth highest-grossing films of the year.

The movie is based on the characters by Michael McDowell and Larry Wilson. Tim Burton directed the movie which was made on a budget of $100 Million and made about $423.1 Million.
