Cannes Film Festival: From Coconut Malai Momo To Puranpoli Tart, The Complete Food Menu Served At Bharat Parv

Cannes Film Festival 2024: Cannes Film Festival is all over the news ever since the festival kickstarted on May 14. Indians have one more thing to rejoice as the country introduced 'Bharat Parv' in the prestigious film festival for the first time. The pavilion is created as an aim to engage the Indian film community in various activities. The best part is that the festival will not only witness sizzling fashion moments and visually pleasing films, but also experience an elaborate exquisite menu, specially curated by Chef Varun Totlani.

Bharat Parv To Serve Exquisite Menu At 77th Cannes Film Festival

According to a report by Times of India, the food menu will have a diverse range of drinks and food covering South and North Indian flavors. For starters, there will be puranpoli tart, laal maas apo, prawn ver masala tart. For main course, Uttarakhan style mushroom bhutwa with potato foam along with koli masala and goda masala, and asparagus and butternut squash moilee with fresh turmeric infused coconut milk will be there.

The dinner menu includes ponkha and charred corn chaat made with fresh sorghum and corn. There will also be jicama and coconut malai momo with passion fruit thukpa. Other than these, khad turbot with malabar paratha, khad sweet potato with malabar paratha, black garlic pulao with fresh toor daal and lamb will also be there.

For desserts, there will be a fruity sweet dish called cacao, which celebrates the cacao farms of South India.

Now, for the bar part, whisky will be there which will be paired with mint, vanilla soda, and Mahabaleshwar strawberries. Apart from that, there will be Bollywood margarita with agave, curry leaves, mango, green chilli and Bombay spice mix. Buransh Hi-Ball with gin, rhododendron nectar, lime and soda and old fashioned Himalayan multiflora honey will also be there. For a dose of caffeine, there will be Irish cream with cold brew coffee, cocoa, and whipped cream.
