Kevin Jonas Undergoes Cancer Removal Surgery
In his recent Instagram post, Kevin Jonas, who also happens to be the brother0in-law of Priyanka Chopra Jonas, revealed that was diagnosed with skin cancer after he discovered a malignant mole on his forehead. The 'Leave Before You Love Me' singer shared that he visited a hospital to get the mole near his hairline checked. However, he was taken aback when it turned out to be skin cancer.
On Wednesday early morning (June 12) IST, Kevin Jonas took to Instagram made a shocking revelation about being diagnosed with skin cancer.
Kevin shared his skin cancer treatment video and urged everyone to take their health seriously. He also highlighted the importance of early detection of skin health in his video. Sharing the video on his Instagram feed, he captioned his Insta post, "Friendly reminder to get your moles checked 🙏"
"So today, I am getting a basal-cell carcinoma removed from my head," Kevin is heard saying in the video clip. "Yes, that is an actual little skin cancer guys that started to grow, and now I have to get surgery to remove it," he added.
According to a report published by Mayo Clinic, Basel cell carcinoma is a "type of skin cancer" that often appears as a "slightly transparent bump on the skin, though it can take other forms."
The popular band Jonas Brothers and its members - Nick Jonas, Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas are currently on a break from doing tours and concerts.
