Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes Box Office Collection Day 6 Prediction: Ace filmmaker Wes Ball's recent directorial Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes has been creating ripples in the town ever since it was announced. After all, this science fiction drama has been the much anticipated sequel to the 2017 release War for the Planet of the Apes and the fourth installment in the Planet of the Apes reboot franchise.

Starring Owen Teague, Freya Allan, Kevin Durand, Peter Macon, and William H. Macy in the lead, the movie has opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics. In fact, Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes has released in India in English, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages and it has been ruling hearts and the box office since the first day. Despite facing a box office clash with Rajkummar Rao and Jyothika starrer Srikanth, Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes saw a decent opening with a collection of Rs 3.15 crores (day 1/ first Monday).

While the movie saw some growth during the opening weekend, the first Monday (day 4) came with a massive drop in numbers. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes minted Rs 1.85 crores on first Monday (day 4) followed by Rs 1.95 crores yesterday (day 5/ first Tuesday) which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 15.5 crores. Given the ongoing trend, Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes is expected to make a collection of Rs 2-2.5 crores today (day 6/ first Wednesday).

While Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes is already beating Srikanth at the box office, it will be interesting to see if it can beat Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan on first Wednesday. To note, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan had raked in Rs 2.55 crores on its first Wednesday.

Talking about the Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes, director Wes Ball told The Wrap that he wasn't sure he wanted to do the film. "I had this skepticism of how you follow up that last trilogy. You need to have that distance so you're not just constantly compared or tethered to that trilogy. Having that time jump was a big opening to me," he added.
