In the yeaser trailer video, Moana and Maui embark on a new ocean adventure after getting a call from her ancestors to "sail to new skies and reconnect our people across the entire ocean."

The new animated musical promises the audience to take them "on an expansive new voyage with Moana, Maui and a brand-new crew of unlikely seafarers".

The official logline of the film reads, "After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she's ever faced."

The much-anticipated Moana 2 is scheduled to hit cinemas globally on November 29, 2024! For those unawared, Moana 2 was originally planned as a Television series before being reworked as a theatrical release.

Besides Moana 2, the makers are also gearing up for a live-action Moana remake with Dwayne Johnson, which has been scheduled for a theatrical release on July 10, 2026.
