Mufasa: The Lion King Box Office Collection Day 9 Prediction: Mufasa: The Lion King has been garnering positive response at the domestic and global box office ever since it hit the big screens on December 20. The movie, which was released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and English in Indian box office, has been inching towards to cross a milestone at the domestic box office. On first weekend, the Disney movie worked decent at the box office which paved its path to inch closer to prestigious Rs. 100 Cr club. Although the milestone is a bit far, the question is- will the movie be able to cross it on first Saturday?

Mufasa: The Lion King has earned Rs. 6.6 Cr on day 8 at the box office seeing a dip of about -5.71% compared to its collection on Thursday when it earned Rs. 7 Cr seeing another dip of about -48.72%. The India nett collection of the film stands at Rs. 80.85 Cr as of day 8, out of which Rs. 29.15 Cr is from English version, Rs. 27.1 Cr from Hindi version, Rs. 11.95 Cr Telugu version, and Rs. 12.65 Cr from Tamil version. Now, if we come to calculate whether the movie will be able to cross Rs. 100 Cr on day 9, it is safe to say that the chances seem bleak considering the last weekend's collection.

Why? Well, the movie needs to collect Rs. 19.15 Cr on day 9, i.e., 2nd Saturday, in order to enter Rs. 100 Cr club, and on its 1st Saturday, the movie minted Rs. 13.25 Cr, and today's collection will be somewhere around that. Considering this, it can be said that it will be hard for the movie to cross Rs. 100 Cr on day 9. However, it might swiftly cross Rs. 90 Cr.
