Mufasa The Lion King Hit Or Flop: The day of anticipation and excitement has finally arrived with the hyped theatrical release of Disney's Mufasa: The Lion King making its debut. The musical anime movie is out on the big screen worldwide as fans are celebrating it thoroughly. The movie was also released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and other regional languages along with the original English version. Surprisingly, the Telugu bookings of Mufasa: The Lion King are higher than other regional versions like Hindi, Tamil, and even English. Superstar Mahesh Babu lent his voice for Mufasa's character, which led to the surge in openings for Telugu version.

In the after-effects of The Lion King, in Pride Land, Rafiki narrates the origin story of Mufasa and Taka to Kiara, the daughter of Nala and Simba. The tale of orphaned Mufasa, adopted by the Taka family is told endearingly with a stunning musical score and bright visuals with Timon and Pumbaa adding their magic.

Kelvin Harrison Jr as Taka, Kagiso Lediga as young Rafiki, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa, Billy Eichner as Timon, Tiffany Boone as Sarabi, Donald Glover as Simba, Mads Mikkelsen as Kiros, Thandiwe Newton as Eshe, Lennie James as Obasi, Blue Ivy Carter as Kiara, Beyonce Knowles-Carter as Nala, and John Kani as Rafiki among others.

Berry Jenkins directed the movie based on Disney's The Lion King by Irene Mecchi, Jonathan Roberts, and Linda Woolverton. The movie was produced by Adele Romanski and Mark Ceryak under the Walt Disney Pictures banner. Dave Metzger and Nicholas Britell worked on the score, and Lin-Manuel Miranda composed the songs.
