'Mufasa: The Lion King' Scar Origin Trailer Revealed, More Details

The official Disney YouTube channel just recently released a trailer that gives context to one of the most important characters in 'The Lion King' franchise, that being the story of the sinister lion, Scar. The trailer for the character is available to watch below.

Plot Details Of The Live-Action Animated Film 'Mufasa: The Lion King'
Disney has described the plot of 'Mufasa: The Lion King' in the following manner, "Exploring the unlikely rise of the beloved king of the Pride Lands, 'Mufasa: The Lion King' enlists Rafiki to relay the legend of Mufasa to young lion cub Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala, with Timon and Pumbaa lending their signature schtick. Told in flashbacks, the story introduces Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and alone until he meets a sympathetic lion named Taka-the heir to a royal bloodline. The chance meeting sets in motion an expansive journey of an extraordinary group of misfits searching for their destiny-their bonds will be tested as they work together to evade a threatening and deadly foe."
Cast And Crew Behind The Film 'Mufasa: The Lion King'
The new film is going to be directed by Barry Jenkins, who will work on the film alongside producers Adele Romanski, Mark Ceryak, executive producer Peter Tobyansen, and music composer Lin-Manuel Miranda.
