Lohan and Harding are the heart of the film. Though they've been apart for some time, Logan knows Avery better than anyone else."

Lindsay Lohan herself made a statement about the movie, summarizing it by saying, "The movie is about a girl who's dating someone, and she goes to meet his family for the holiday. Then she bumps into her ex, who is dating her boyfriend's sister. And all kinds of stuff breaks loose."
