Poolman Release Date: Hollywood star Chris Pine in back on screens! The 43-year-old, who will celebrate 2 decades in Hollywood this year, is all set to add a new fether to his already shining crown with his next, Poolman and the timing couldn't be better, isn't it? Chris made his debut in a feature film with The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement back in 2004. And now, he is all set to make his deirectorial debut with the upcoming Hollywood mystery-comedy - Poolman.

The Wonder Woman 1984 star is all set to make his directorial debut with Poolman. Besides helming and headlining the comedy-thriller, he's co-written the film with Iyen Gotlar. The film also stars Annette Bening, Danny DeVito, and Jennifer Jason Leigh among others in prominent roles.

The movie tell the story of a happy-go-lucky potimistic guy and a native Angeleno named Darren Barrenman (played by Chris), who spends his days looking after the pool of the Tahitian Tiki apartment block and fighting to make his hometown a better place to live.

Talking about his character, Chris said that Barrenman is "a dreamer whose search for love and connection won't be bullied into submission by a cynical world."
