Met Gala 2024: Rita Ora & Doja Cat Leave Internet Baffled As They Go Semi-N*ked On Red Carpet: PICS

Met Gala 2024: Glitz, glamour and a lil bit of drama... The 'green' red carpet of Met Gala, affectionately called as 'fashion's biggest night', has seen it all this year. While some of the biggest celebrities made heads turn in ah-mazing outfits, a couple of them made it to the top meme moments. And there are some, who have just left the internet speechless (not sure if it is in a good way).
Met Gala 2024: Theme & Dress Code
The fashion gala took place on Monday (May 5) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. This year's exhibit 'Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion' goes hand-in-hand with the dress code, dubbed 'The Garden of Time'.
Rita Ora & Doja Cat Go Semi-N*Ked At Met Gala 2024 Red Carpet
British singer-songwriter Rita Ora made her Met Gala with a 'barely-there beaded' look. The Body On Me singer flaunted her toned physique as she put on a completely open-sided dress on the red carpet.
The 33-year-old wore a nude coloured sheer bodysuit underneath her outfit and waked hand-in-hand with her husband Taika Waititi. Doja's outfit is made entirely of colourful beaded strands hanging in the front and back, leaving both the sides completely open from top to bottom.
On the other hand, Grammy-winning singer and rapper Doja Cat grabbed a lot of eyeballs as walked down the Met Gala 2024 red carpet in a 'dripping' dress. She wore a white oversized floor-length wet, seemingly drenched in water, t-shirt dress by Vetements.
The Kiss Me More singer's dress was sompletely see-through and she also went for a tear-soaked makeup. Explaining the reason behind her 'wet' look, Doja Cat said, "I know that people are going to do flowers, but my flower of choice is the most-used flower - and it's cotton. I wanted to do a white T-shirt, also because a white T-shirt is timeless. And it felt very poetic to choose this. I knew it wasn't going to blend in too much, and I don't really like to blend in."
