The official YouTube channel of Paramount Pictures just recently uploaded a trailer for a film that's going to shed light on one of the scariest events in the history of the Olympics and how the journalists were able to react to it. The movie is titled 'September 5' and the trailer for it can be watched below.

Plot Details Of The Historical Film 'September 5'

Paramount Pictures had this to say about the movie and what the plot will explore, "The movie unveils the decisive moment that forever changed media coverage and continues to impact live news today. Set during the 1972 Munich Summer Olympics, the film follows an American Sports broadcasting team that quickly adapted from sports reporting to live coverage of the Israeli athletes taken hostage. Through this lens, "September 5" provides a fresh perspective on the live broadcast seen globally by an estimated one billion people at the time."

Cast And Crew Behind The Paramount Pictures Film 'September 5'

The movie is directed by Tim Fehlbaum who also wrote the script for it alongside Moritz Binder and Alex David. The cast list for the movie includes Peter Sarsgaard, John Magaro, Ben Chaplin, Leonie Benesch, Zinedine Soualem, Corey Johnson, Georgina Rich, and Benjamin Walker.

When And Where Can I Watch Historical Film 'September 5'

The film will be available to watch in theatres from either November 29th, 2024, or December 13th, 2024.
