The reassembled international fusion ensemble Shakti has clinched the prestigious award of Best Global Music Album for their latest release, 'This Moment'. This marks a significant milestone as it is the group's first new album in over 45 years. The album boasts eight new compositions by the talented lineup comprising John McLaughlin (guitar, guitar synth), Zakir Hussain (tabla), Shankar Mahadevan (vocalist), V Selvaganesh (percussionist), and Ganesh Rajagopalan (violinist).

A pre-show premiere ceremony preceded the main event, hosted by Justin Tranter, beginning at 3:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, February 4.
