Skywalkers: A Love Story OTT Release, Platform, & More: Featuring the travel adventures of a popular Instagram influencers couple Angela Nikolau and Ivan Beerkus, the new documentary titled Skywalkers: A Love Story is going to hit the digital streaming platform straight worldwide including India.

Skywalkers: A Love Story at first was premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival in January. After the screening, leading OTT giant Netflix spent a decent amount to acquire the streaming rights to the documentary.

The adventures of a Moscow-born couple who not only earned popularity and money by making a career out of their scaling adventures with almost no safety precautions.

Speaking about the documentary, director Jeff Zimbalist said, "There's a danger to romance. It crushes us, it breaks our hearts. It breaks our hopes. Here, that danger is material. If the love falls apart, if the trust falls apart, it's life or death. That felt like such a potent way of taking this amorphous sense that we all have in our romance and externalizing it and making it tangible," as quoted by Netflix.

Skywalkers: A Love Story Streaming Date In India

The documentary shows a set of thrilling rooftop adventures of the social media couple. The documentary earned positive reviews from critics and viewers who watched it a bit earlier than the rest of the world. Skywalkers: A Love Story will now make its international streaming debut on Netflix on July 19.

Directed by Jeff Zimbalist and Maria Bukhonina, the documentary was produced by XYZ Films in association with Library Films and All Rise Films. Netflix distributed the movie worldwide. Jacques Brautbar Tereza and Dos Santos Costa composed the entire music and score. Renato Serrano, Ivan Beerkus, Angela Nikolau, and Pablo Rojas cranked the camera. Alannah Byrnes and Jeff Zimbalist worked as the editors.
