Taylor Swift Concert Cancelled In Vienna, Austria Due To Terrorist Threat

Recently, three Taylor Swift concerts that were meant to happen in Vienna, Austria just got cancelled. Many of the fans abroad are quite devastated. Not just those from Austria, but those from neighbouring countries who were planning to attend the tour are also equally as upset.
Each show was planned to host around 65,000 people at the Ernst Happel Stadium, with another 22,000 attending the event from outside the venue. In total, Ernst Happel Stadium lost out on around 2,61,000 potential visits for the next three days.
No post has been made by Taylor Swift as of yet on the cancellation of the upcoming shows, but the reason for them being cancelled may shock readers.
Apparently, the event was at risk of being host to a terrorist attack by a couple young people who had sworn allegiance to ISIS. A 19-year old suspect was arrested by the police in his house in Ternitz, where they found both internet evidence that he had sworn allegiance to ISIS, as well as numerous chemicals which he may or may not have stolen from his workplace. There are also other suspects to this investigation, but no other arrests have been made public yet, so we'll have to wait and see how the situation develops.
In the meantime, the Chancellor of Austria, Karl Nehammer, made a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, expressing sadness over the cancellation of the Taylor Swift concert, but understanding the need to do so because safety should come before all else.
In his post, he also wrote, "Thanks to the intensive cooperation of our police and the newly established DSN with foreign services, the threat was recognized early, combated and a tragedy prevented. Many thanks to the emergency services who are currently investigating at full speed." He also went on to talk about how religious extremism is causing many public places to feel unsafe and that it is important as people of a nation to hold onto values of democracy and vigilance against such activities in the future.
