The movie 'The Salt Path' is based on the book by the same name written by author Raynor Winn. The plot follows the author and her husband, Moth Winn, who are both diagnosed with a brain degenerative disease and are also left homeless due to being sued by a friend. Unable to figure out what to do next, they decide to take on the 1,010 km South West Coast Path, and learn to cope with many of the trials and tribulations that come with being homeless.

The film 'The Salt Path' is directed by Marianne Elliott, who worked on it alongside producers, Elizabeth Karlsen, Stephen Woolley, Lloyd Levin, and Beatriz Levin.
