XG Sets To Drop New Mini Album And Track SOMETHING AIN'T RIGHT

XG has announced their eagerly awaited 2nd mini album, with the first pre-release track "SOMETHING AIN'T RIGHT" set to drop on July 26th. This news follows a teaser image posted on July 8th, showing a beam of light between the ocean, clouds, and sun, hinting at the album's late 2024 release.

On July 6th, XG made their debut appearance on Nippon TV's "THE MUSIC DAY," performing their hit singles "WOKE UP" and "SHOOTING STAR." The latter, released in January 2023, became the theme song for a Spotify brand commercial and is a fan favourite. This performance significantly boosted their social media presence and led to their Wikipedia page receiving the highest number of views in Japan that day.

Upcoming Release: "SOMETHING AIN'T RIGHT"

"SOMETHING AIN'T RIGHT" is described as a retro-style track with garage rhythms and catchy refrains. It highlights each of the seven members' unique styles while incorporating various sounds within its minimalistic approach. JAKOPS (SIMON JUNHO PARK), head and general producer of XGALX, produced this up-tempo 90s-esque track that aims to make everyone dance, regardless of age or gender.

XG's Rising Popularity

XG's fifth single "WOKE UP," released on May 21st, achieved significant success by topping the YouTube trending chart in the United States. It also led the "Global Japan Songs Excl. Japan" chart for five consecutive weeks. These achievements have solidified XG's reputation as a global rising group with unstoppable momentum.

Currently, XG is on their first world tour titled "The first HOWL." They will begin their overseas performances with a concert in Seoul on July 11th. Fans worldwide are eagerly anticipating these shows as XG aims to excite ALPHAZ globally.

XG: The Group Behind the Music

XG is a seven-member HIPHOP/R&B girl group consisting of JURIN, CHISA, HINATA, HARVEY, JURIA, MAYA, and COCONA. They debuted in March 2022 with their single "Tippy Toes" under XGALX, an entertainment company focused on promoting bold culture worldwide and producing artists with unique worldviews.
