Young Sherlock OTT Release Date, Platform In India, Cast: Hero Fiennes Tiffin To Play Lead Role

Prime Video has greenlit a new series entitled "Young Sherlock," directed and executive produced by Guy Ritchie. This series will present an origin story for Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famed detective. It focuses on a young, disgraced Sherlock Holmes entangled in a murder mystery at Oxford University.

Hero Fiennes Tiffin has been cast in the lead role. Matthew Parkhill will serve as the showrunner and executive producer. The series promises an irreverent and action-packed take on the iconic character, diving into how Sherlock becomes the renowned detective.

The series draws inspiration from Andy Lane's acclaimed book series, "Young Sherlock Holmes." It will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories. The creative team aims to explore the enigmatic character of Sherlock Holmes and understand what drives him.
